"Get Articles, Tips, and Resources to Guide and Support You on Your Journey to Create a Career and Worklife Consistent with Your Faith, Beliefs, and Values."

Woman_pc_frustrated

Are you sacrificing too much of your time, compromising your values, and feeling a disconnect between your personal and professional lives?

The pressure to produce results...the fear of losing your job...the ethical dilemmas you face every single day...they add up to an incredible amount of tension to deal with.

Work will always be work and it will always involve stress and juggling multiple demands. Unfortunately churches don't talk much about how to make “the Sunday to Monday connection”...how to consciously make career, business, and behavior choices that keep you in alignment with your faith, beliefs, and values while on the job. It’s just not their focus.

But it’s mine.

I really believe it’s in the workplace that our faith gets tested most of all. While work finances our life, sometimes the choices we make actually force us to be slaves to a job we hate…force us to remain on a merry-go-round that we can’t seem to stop…

We’re Believers 24-hours a day…Shouldn’t our actions reflect that?...Even at work?

I’m not talking about preaching at work. I’m not talking about forcing your faith on other people. I am talking about actively living your faith, beliefs, and values and creating a life that’s in sync with what you say you believe and what you value...about being a beacon of Christ's love for the world to see.

That’s where my ezine, The Mustard Seed comes in. It’s a twice-monthly newsletter delivered right to your inbox that shares thought-provoking articles, easy-to-apply tips, inexpensive resources, and other useful information to help you stay focused on God, on Jesus’ teaching, and on keeping your life focused on what really matters to you in order to create that balanced, joy-filled life you’ve always dreamed of.

You’ll discover insights to help you leverage your strengths, talents, and core gift so you're doing work that brings you joy, and to actively apply your faith at work and deal with the stress and challenges you face. And it will only take you about 7 minutes to read twice each month. It takes you more time than that to walk to the snack machine in the office and back!

You won't find any extremism in The Mustard Seed. Christ's message was one of tolerance and forgiveness and The Mustard Seed is all about that too. I promise you there’s no hateful language, no "stone throwing," or judging. I think that kind of behavior and thinking is completely inconsistent with our faith.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers but I think it's time we became comfortable talking about these issues and the struggles we all face in trying to live consistently with the tenets of our faith. I’d like to help you deal with the issues you face and grow closer to God.

In the few minutes that it takes you to read each issue of The Mustard Seed, you'll find information you can begin to use right away to make your work life less stressful and more connected to your Christian faith. To thank you for allowing me share my message with you, my gift to you is a free chapter to my e-book, Faith From 9 to 5: How to Overcome the Seven Deadly Sins and Live Your Faith at Work.   The legendary Ken Blanchard, author of The One Minute Manager and Lead Like Jesus, says it's "...provocative and reflective!  Most of us will see ourselves somewhere in this book."  So get your free sample chapter today when you sign up for .The Mustard Seed
